The piece
Faro stands seventy centimetres tall — a slim woven lantern that draws the eye up instead of out. Hung in a stairwell or a corner with height to spare, it does the work of a floor lamp without taking a square centimetre of floor.
The weave tightens toward the top and opens toward the base, so the light leaves mostly downward and the upper half stays a soft silhouette. In a room with a high ceiling it reads almost like a column. Two of them, spaced apart, will hold a long hallway together.
