Corda is rope and nothing else — natural jute wound turn by turn over an iron frame until it becomes a shade. You can see where the maker's hands changed tension. Up close it smells faintly of the field it came from.
It is our smallest and friendliest piece, and the one we suggest starting with. The weave is tight enough to hide the bulb and open enough to let a warm line of light escape at the top and bottom. Coastal houses, sloped ceilings, a reading corner that needs softening — Corda goes where a bigger light would shout.

Bulbs are not included — we recommend a warm-white 2200–2700K LED so the weave and the stone keep their colour. Every piece is made by hand, so small differences in tone and pattern are normal.
